Former Chelsea football player, Gary Johnson has leaked secrets both about his childhood, and that of the Chelsea club about sexual abuse by the former chief scout, Eddie Heath that he had endured back in the 1970’s.

The owner of the club has apologized copiously to Mr. Johnson regarding this matter. Mr. Johnson mentioned that the club had offered him about £50,000 as leverage for him to remain quiet about this incident, in which he himself accepted.

Conversely, it is believed that the club came to a realization that they may very well have broken protocols and rules set by the Premiere League about the secret endorsement they performed with Mr. Johnson.

Among the regulations, any incident that involves or involved child abuse must be reported. “We are fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people who are in our care or attending our premises,” the club quoted.

Johnson first joined the club when he was 11 years old, and was apart of their first team throughout the years 1978-1981, and from the age of 13 was trained by Eddie Heath.

Apparently this incident was only one of several, as Chelsea stated that Heath himself was convoluted in “inappropriate relationships” with other youngsters and males in general.

A former midfielder for the team, Alan Hudson even posted on Facebook regarding this matter and said it was undoubtedly “common knowledge that Mr. Heath was a danger to us youngsters.”

The club has stated that it will strive to dig deeper into this issue and stated that they had “no desire to hide any historic abuse.”

This situation developed even further since the review about it will examine it all thoroughly and start to question of why these reports were never sent to the premier league and football association to begin with.

Johnson himself claims that over the course of 3 years, Heath has sexually assaulted him hundreds of times, yet was offered a rather large figure to keep it undisclosed.

“I felt shame, I felt my childhood has been taken away. I spent my late teens in turmoil, absolute turmoil,” said Johnson, decades later.
